We’re proud to announce phase two of the Pacific Climate Warriors campaign to #StandUpForThePacific in 2014.

On Saturday April 12th, Warriors from 15 Pacific Islands will rise up with music, dance and strong voices to mark the start of their canoe builds. These traditional style canoes will be made by the Warriors over the next few months, to be taken with them on a historic journey to Australia. In Australia, they will use the canoes to communicate their message on climate change; that they will stand up to the fossil fuel industry, big lenders to fossil fuel projects and politicians, in order to protect their islands in the face of climate change.

at musikmesse Hall 4.0 Stand J40 Frankfurt, Germany

We are asking all of our friends to get the word out via blogs, forums, any means possible. In the hope that we can retrieve these rare stolen instruments, pickups, and tools. Basically everything that was on display in Frankfurt was stolen (even our banners, suits & suitcases!). Here is a rundown of the stolen items (scroll down to view photos):

A dark tobacco burst Model 10 one-of-a-kind prototype with P90 pickups (Tom’s personal favorite). If you see either of these two prototype guitars they are definitely stolen!!

The guitars below are production models, but if you see any of these in or around Frankfurt, Germany they are most-likely stolen!!

I know my smart readers get that if the end of the ocean’s food chain decreases the natural balance of sea life is altererd leading to dead reefs and more horrible consequences.

If you have The Cowabunga Box Set of Surf Music or the Taschen book about Leroy Grannis’ work you have already seen some of the greatest surf culture photography. What an incredible legacy for us late comers to witness these times through the lense of such a great photographer.

Granny no longer can afford to stay in the assisted living home he has been living in and has moved to his son’s home.
