The Action Begins: Watch Out Fossil Fuel Industry.
We’re proud to announce phase two of the Pacific Climate Warriors campaign to #StandUpForThePacific in 2014.On Saturday April 12th, Warriors from 15 Pacific Islands will rise up with music, dance and strong voices to mark the start of their canoe builds. These traditional style canoes will be made by the Warriors over the next few months, to be taken with them on a historic journey to Australia. In Australia, they will use the canoes to communicate their message on climate change; that they will stand up to the fossil fuel industry, big lenders to fossil fuel projects and politicians, in order to protect their islands in the face of climate change.
